In 2002, Grants.gov was established as a part of the President’s Management Agenda. It is managed by the Department of Health and Human Services, and it is an E-Government initiative operated by the Office of Management and Budget. Grants.gov has information for more than 1,000 grants for businesses and Veterans. The goal of this program is to centralize 1,000 different grant opportunities with an awarding dollar amount of $500 Billion annually. There is a 5-step registration process.
